I did it! I installed the Lagrange browser on Android, and imported my identity out of Deedum into this instead. It mostly involves copying and pasting a large chunk of text that I don't really understand, but it worked, I didn't have to set up a password here, and I'm pretty sure it was more secure that way.
I think I'm getting the hang of this. posting from Deedum on Android, it doesn't like keeping my identity around, so I have to select one, tap the URL bar and reopen the page for it to take. That's not too bad, though. The other Gemini client I've been trying, Buran, doesn't seem to support identities at all.
