just out of curiosity, is the whole circumlunar.space project abandoned? I haven't been around when Solderpunk decided to move on. but I get the feeling the colonies are all empty... and people moved on, including the maintainers

As I recall it, solderpunk was wrestling with the question of how best to engage with the online world, and seemed to come to the conclusion that the best way was to rarely use it. Just my take. I think the web site gives enough to get started. · 2 years ago

@mc thought Jones wrote fiction 😅 anyhow why I say that is because the capsules contain dead links and all that. at least the colonies do. and I haven't seen any mailing list comment from Solderpunk ever. if you don't involve yourself in a project for many months, then you're leaving it behind, and that's ok, I to the same · 2 years ago

circumlunar.space abandoned ? Solderpunk decided to move on ? I don't think so ! People just went underground - check out: gemini://republic.circumlunar.space/users/joneworlds/2021-09-06-underground.gmi note: You see, most geminauts are also gophers and they feel better underground then on space capsules. ;) Wish you a cozy wknd · 2 years ago
