[ANN] New server: gemini://gemini.marmaladefoo.com/

1. Luke Emmet (luke.emmet (a) gmail.com)

Hi Solderpunk and all

I'm pleased to announce I've just set up a new server:

gemini://gemini.marmaladefoo.com/

I'll be posting items about GemiNaut development, thoughts on gemini and
will make some experiments in app development in Gemini. You can also
find out about my other secret life as a lute maker.

Solderpunk - if there is still a space on the hand-curated list of
servers, can I go on it?

Best Wishes

  - Luke

Greetings!

Unfortunately I can't connect with my gnu-tls based client or
gnutls-cli.

$ gnutls-cli --insecure gemini.marmaladefoo.com 1965
Processed 0 CA certificate(s).
Resolving 'gemini.marmaladefoo.com:443'...
Connecting to '2a00:1098:0:80:1000:3b:1:1:443'...

Have a nice day/night/evening!
- Baschdel

Silly me forgot, that gnutls wants the port appended with a : inbetwee,
but my client still has issues

5. Luke Emmet (luke (a) marmaladefoo.com)

Hi Baschdel

Thanks for the feedback

I'm just running Molly Brown server - I dont know much about how TLS works

The server is behind a IP4 to IPv6 proxy - but it should work. It works
for me using other clients, but maybe they arent as strict as the one
you have

Is there any other information about what it doesnt like?

Best Wishes

   - Luke

Welcome to gemini space. Your capsule is viewable in bollux and Castor

I'll have to install GemiNaut for my wife to use if she ever gets
curious about Gemini space since she prefers Windows. :)
