Any tips for getting started with Veilid these days? I'm still pretty much a novice when it comes to Linux / server admin stuff.

The source for veilid chat has been released, but you have to build it yourself, which has a lot of depencies

I made some progress running something with Veilid — I made some progress running veilid, both in Linux by un-archiving the deb packages and in Windows by building a binary with a CI service called Appveyor, so I can run veilid-server now on Windows and it connects to other nodes. I am still not getting any interaction on Windows due to not having any client programs, but I can run scripts that access the server node in Linux

The only thing that works is a pastebin url that stores the data in the veilid network apparently

I have started to try out veilid, but up to now I have not found any tool that can use it, so all I can run is a servernode and connect with the cli to it to query the status
