I'm not aware of any, unfortunately.

Am I reading the spec right? No text encoding specified, no headers, no error checking, no status codes, no use of mimetypes?

Seems like an exercise in seeing how much you can strip away and still do something interesting.

It sounds really good, actually. WYSIWYG all the way

I don't know of a lot of Nex Stations. However, I wrote a nex server last summer which I wanted to use to setup a nex station, but I didn't come around to get myself a VPS yet.

wow, thank you for sharing, i didn't know about nex protocol.

so it is not encrypted, and it has no headers. i tried telnet as described in specification:

Here is an example telnet session:
telnet nex.nightfall.city 1900
hello-world.txt

Hello world

but it looks like document is not there.

no uploads? not possible to upload something? or it is possible? i didn't understand that.

I finally got around to spinning up a [nex link] server. It's a fun protocol! [nex link] [https link] (http proxy) Does anyone else use it? I searched around and found a couple of dead links, but only one other active server besides nightfall.city. [nex link] [preformatted]
