Working For Two Anuses

My mother is known for not being able to say certain words; one of them is 'sheet'. I've tried to help many times and the conversation goes like this: "okay Mom let's try it, 'sh e e e eet'''... "shhhhh it".

Maybe it's genetic?

When practicing Spanish today I caught myself saying 'ano' instead of 'año'. As you may know 'ano' means 'anus', not 'year'. I wasn't trying to 'disrupt the class', it just came out that way. It's surprizingly hard to make even simple foreign sounds sometimes.

Luckily no one was around to witness this blunder, but I imagined all kinds of ways of embarrassing myself:

Mi hijo tiene dos anos!

My son has two anuses!

He desperdiciado tres buenos anos.

I've wasted three good anuses.

Los anos se han ido volando

The anuses have flown by

¡Tuve un ano horrible!

I had a horrible anus!

I will now stop, but if you think of a good one please let me know.
