Re: "A Terrible Restless Night..."
Yikes, what a nasty night that was!
I, too, suffer from insomnia. About the only thing that works even half the time is having a relaxing pre-bedtime routine. Sleep meds, for whatever reason, don't work unless they're the really potent stuff that creates other problems.

I am very sorry to hear that friend!
If you wake up during the night, light a candle and watch it burn for a while.

Thank you for all the good ideas. I should get some CBD/THC drops - that really worked the last time I had sleep issues. I am not a big fan of THC - it makes me stupid and paranoid, but a small amount (~3mg?) with about 10mg of CBD in oil form is really good for sleep... Totally forgot about that.

My entire life I was a sound sleeper, and could usually wake up when needed before the alarm. Now I seem to wake up at 3AM almost every night, lie awake, listen to audiobooks to distract myself, fall asleep and feel like crap in the morning. Last night was ridiculous. I woke up at just around 3AM with a strong sense of something gone...
