Hey everyone, just wondering if any gemini users also use telnet or ssh BBS's on the regular? Any recomendations if so? I never really used them back in the day but its something I've been wanting to give a try for a while now.

I'm on bottomless abyss BBS here and there, there's also quantum wormhole, 2oforbeers, spotBBS, all of which are very cool to connect to and have regular content and activity circulating. You can also chat with everyone, regardless where you connect from, thanks to the Mystic relay chat which connects all of the BBS' into a multi-node federated chat. If you get on bottomless, my tag on there is userfxnet.

@flipperzero @gritty @daruma thanks for the suggestions. I should have another x270 getting delivered today which I intend to use terminal/framebuffer only so once that's setup I'll check a few of these out :)

I wonder, the address on your page, is that for misfin then? :o I do have a handful of members by this point on the system, I wonder if I gots ya on the pubnix? @flipperzero so the registration on my my BBS stays local if that's what you're asking. The BBS is it's own local mail server and I grabbed a hashnix email just to play around with it but have never actually gotten any email there! My BBS is a newbie as am I to this but I remembered them from my youth and though it would be nice to keep one live for the area here.
