Entering the pub

So I get pulled by the neon lights above the door. "Midnight Pub", it reads. I have heard about this place before, while navigating Geminispace.

I'm tired and stressed after my day job and an evening taking care of my daughter, so I enter. I decide against sitting on a table, and just grab an empty chair in the bar.

~bartender, scotch, straight, please.

I pull out my laptop, since I have a couple of things to read for tomorrow. The battery is almost dead, so I will read as much as I can.

The other patrons seem friendly; I may have things in common with them. Let's see how it goes.
