i'm so excited we're finally getting a mainline Zelda game where we get to play as Zelda! I love that it's not just a player model swap too, leaning more into the fact that she's a magic user and not an actual fighter. Love that it's using the Link's Awakening Remake engine!

Otherwise I'm really happy we finally got Perfect Dark on the N64 app! And the brand new Mario and Luigi game!!

This direct was just loaded with stuff tbh

I got nervous after the poor sales of the 3DS remake of Bowser's Inside Story that we wouldn't get another Mario & Luigi game. Pleasantly surprised to see my anxiety was unwarranted! I'm impressed with the team's ability to capture the Mario & Luigi art style in those 3D models.

Excited about another top-down Zelda game! I assume Grezzo is behind the development of this one, like Link's Awakening HD. I'm glad Nintendo trusts Grezzo to make good Zelda games in the same way Flagship (Capcom) was trusted to make good Zelda games. Hopefully the lack of the vaseline dream filter this game means the frame rate will be more consistent!

DKC Returns HD was definitely a strange reveal. It's a fine game, but I worry that some folks might pick it up hoping it's as good as Tropical Freeze and get disappointed. At least it seems to have the quality of life improvements of the 3DS port.

Happy Stray is getting a Switch release for the folks who haven't had a chance to play it yet.

I suspect Metroid Prime 4 is going to get the "Breath of the Wild" treatment of being pushed to a date that is close to the launch of the next console so it can be on both consoles.

If these are end up basically being the last Nintendo in-house games announced for the Switch, at least it's a pretty strong lineup.
