with its guts turned over
all thrown as if they rained
over it all
as if by a thread hang
the fallen apart shell
of an archway
and as if a witness
a green chair
with a clean and brand new face
said to me: seat and watch
the whole scene
its far-reaching shape

shone free of any stain
