Poor jukebox ...
Well, my part of the list, ahem, if you will, would have quite a bit of Big Band Jazz. Something like "Sing Sing Sing" with Gene Krupa and band, all the way through "Out of the Cool" (Album) conducted by Gil Evans, on to "Another Sky" (Album) by the Bergen Big Band, conducted by John Surman. But any such list would be incomplete without Peter Herbolzheimers Rhythm Combination and Brass and The Vienna Art Orchestra.
So ~inquiry, ~tetris, ~dwaynon lift the jukebox upright. I clean it a little with a napkin, and scroll down. "Hip Walk" for starters. Volume to MAX! LOUD! All the other patrons flee to the terrace. ~bartender is giving me intentional stares, however, he likes this stuff as well :-)
Only one song!
~bartender is certain. Ok, well then, I lower the volume after the song, such that the next patron is not dying from a heart attack.
Back in my "stay-up-all-night-till-it's-done-then-sleep-under-your-desk" days I would have one specific repetitive simple poppy song that I would play almost on a loop to keep me awake and focused.
If I were to compare myself to Batman (and I will) it would be that episode of the JLA where Batman hasn't slept in days due to some sleep demon that threatens to kill the team if he should slumber, and so when he finds himself dozing behind the wheel of the batmobile, he punches out a window and plays nursery rhymes at full volume.
My nursery rhyme that you will find in the far left-hand side of the jukebox, only to be used in emergencies, is Star One's Digital Rain.
Are you asking what kind of music we like, or what kind of music we've made?
