It has been a while since I've updated my Cosmic Voyage story, and I've decided that Lantashi, Kit and crew have been sleeping long enough!
Over the next couple of weeks, I am going to be updating Lantashi Dance. I consider Cosmic Voyage to be where my logs will go, once I am finished writing them. But why not write and publish in real time right on my Gemini Capsule?
I've copied the story over to my writing section. Note I had a fantasy adventure that was named almost the same thing, so that adventure story is now called Lantashi's Adventures. I've put together a few scripts to upload quickly to Lantashi Dance when I make changes.
I have several sections of Lantashi Dance. Everything is a work in progress. I've been building this just today, so it is not very far along yet.
If you want to read what is on Cosmic Voyage, that is in the Ship Logs section. The difference is, on this capsule, you will be able to read the new logs before they are finished! Once I am done with them, satisfied with a log, I will upload it to Cosmic Voyage to be part of the official story.
All the other sections are for background and fun. I will probably put a lot of strange details for the characters and locations and stuff in there! None of the other sections will have content that ends up on Cosmic Voyage.
For my other stories, I am probably going to do something similar. Who says I have to be done writing a scene or a chapter of any story before I copy it up to the Lantashi Files Capsule? I've always been thinking finish a scene, make it as close to perfect as possible, and then publish it. But that's no fun. So as I write different parts of my story, I am going to upload them to Gemini kind of in near real time (maybe at the end of the day or writing session).
Of course that means people are going to see a lot of unfinished things and silly notes in the documents, like "WRITE MORE ABOUT HANDSOME GUY SHE RUNS INTO" or "MORE HERE" or stuff like that. But that's okay. It won't be in the final story.
This gemlog, however, will be still be "mostly done" before I publish a post though. I always reserve the right to go back and fix up typos though!
