Things continue. It's spring. For real, this time. That seems to make everything better, and I'm feeling pretty good. I've spent more time outside, including in the garage -- now that I don't need a heater on just to be out there.

I finished Norco, which was okay. Well made for a tiny team but I am not sure that I really liked it. It was short though and didn't outstay its welcome. Now I'm playing the "Excavation of Hob's Barrow" on recommendation of a friend.

I am all in on solar panels and battery backup, having picked up two more ~300Wh packs which can be solar charged. It felt excessive last time I bought batteries (after the derecho) but then we had the ice storm and used all of the power up and were glad of the backups -- so maybe I just need to wait for Ottawa's weather to punish us again and these batteries will feel like a great investment.

My relationship to my hobbies and work and home life are all more balanced at the moment. It feels good! And it doesn't feel random -- it feels like the result of work I put in and putting things from therapy into practice. It's not that I never think I'm going to feel down again but I feel like I have some better tools to manage my mood and intend to keep up good habits.
