I still have that job and just signed a permanent job contract
I found a significant other in Warsaw. I'm going to visit a lot and I work from the Warsaw office a lot, although I may end up working remotely from her place. We're also metamours of the very-long-distance s/o.
I can now travel with a HP 2510p running Windows 2000 with an IrDA adapter to have what to sync my Palm IIIxe with. And back home I can use the cradle with my Windows 10 ultrabook over a serial port adapter. I carry the ultrabook on travel too, however. Along with the work laptop, of course.
Switching to estradiol injections, a huge step up in my trans HRT after well over two years. Would be cool if I also started doing blood tests when I ought to.

Found a transoceanically long-distance significant other.
Bought myself another Dell Latitude CPxH. Yet the OKI 320 Elite printer I bought myself to repair&use still rests untouched.

December : Maining the earlier-had Windows 10 14" powerful ultrabook from now on (not the Helix). Back to .NET, WinForms, and getting started with VB.NET.

November : Established a frequent pen gal on Slowly app! Inter-city meet-up with her later planned for after-New-Year.

October: Got myself a ThinkPad Helix 1gen, Windows 10. Almost maining it for the private use I have. Immediately needed to port Bash&Unix stuff to Powershell.

August/September 2022

With my non-nesting partner from Poznań we broke up too, I just wasn't reciprocating full romantic feelings. We're friends. (Down to one, nesting, partner, at that point).
I bought a Samsung MAX-440 minitower audio system that I want to learn repairing tape decks (and maybe CD drives) on.
I will also be fiddling with Dell Latitude CPxH450 (two of them, one screenless and much-less) Pentium III laptops that I brought earlier.
I switched to Void Linux from OpenBSD on my X220.
New amazing friend circle! Around a freshly-FP that I've reconnected with after years of acquiantance.
Ditched Spotify. Soon after I got onto a small community computer system that we have music files unpublicly hosted on.
Got on bupropion (antidepressant).

I was on lovely 5-day vacations with my nesting gf in Kołobrzeg
the ex I broke up with in July did a bad internet thing to me and we cut ties

I broke up with my long-distance (Kraków) partner but on good conditions (at first)
I started somewhat collecting music CDs and got into indie music on Bandcamp
I don't know for how long before but I am using a Palm IIIxe daily again for datebook and todos and task time-tracking apps and stuff

May 2022

I am now employed as a full-time Java Software Developer full-remote with voluntary visits to Wrocław. I will also be working with Go and Kubernetes on that position.
I have found a same-city (Poznań) significant other; that's a third. (See: breakup in timeline)
I am deciding to get off escitalopram (an SSRI antidepressant)

I had been having an illness, maybe CoViD. Prevented me from visiting parents for Easter. Another one to give me long-term cough for sure.

I had another job interview, this time for a Java Software Developer position in Nokia. It went quite pleasantly, I've mentioned how it was many years since I last touched Java, and then it seemed that I left a promising impression of my competences, with all the weird stuff that I was doing and mentioning, chaotically.
(they made me write some functions with focus on jUnit tests, asked me about Maven and Git)
(the next day I phoned a friend who works in Nokia elsewhere and learnt about Robot Framework and that's an interesting thing, especially the whitespaced-sentences thing intrigues me)

After three years of having NixOS as a daily driver on all my desktops, I switched to OpenBSD on my ThinkPad X220 and to PopOS on a bigger Dell laptop, besides one of mains now being a Windows laptop. (two gemlog posts regarding that)

I have finally decided to make my public Instagram account padlocked (restricted, "private") because of the continuing illicit use of photos of my face for a fake dating profile on Polish site DateZone since October that I still am procrastinating to report to the police (I also need help with both the legal&procedural aspects of it as well as physical emotional support in accompanying me to the police station)
