Within Epicyon [1] there is now the ability to apply a watermark image as an overlay onto any images which you attach to posts. This may help with establishing authenticity, and mess with "AI" grifters who try to use your photos without permission and exclusively for their own profit.
The problem of the internet turning into a sludge heap of "AI" generated garbage is currently an unsolved one, and I am beginning to see stuff like this appearing within my everyday use of the interweb. You might think that remixed images are just like remixed music and relatively harmless, but with images there is the more insidious aspect of the ability to very easily and with negligible skill create disinformation potentially with significant political effects in the "run and gun" news cycle. It's like that saying that lies spread half way around the world before there's time for the truth to get its boots on. I think the solution is going to be some form of digital provenance, especially for images which appear in news articles.
To set a watermark image edit your profile and go to the Background Images section. You may need to experiment with the size of the watermark image to get the poportions as you wish.
