Doctor Who - Season 1: 2. The Devil's Chord

Finally watched the new Dr Who (The one with the drag queen in it).

What a blast! I don't think Dr Who has been that camp since Sylvester Mcoy. It's pretty dark stuff really though. It needed an ending like that just so show that everthing was back to normal. Everbody was quick to moan about the WOKE messaging but after watching that I wonder how many of those moaning bastards actual sat down to watched the episode? You'd have thought the messaging that a maniacal Drag Queen steals the music and turns the world to ash would be worthy of comment. That was a scary villain. Had I been a kid I think that would have freaked me out no end; as a fully grow male it still freaks me out; stealing all the music is quite the most horrible thing a demon could do. It's fucking horrific. It's bad enough demons control the music business... It's hard not to be a critic when your older, conversely it's harder to see through the eyes of a child.

I still can't stand Bonnie Langford

I haven't watched Dr Who proper since Mcoy and by then it was a very boring experience. I'd just grown out of it. It was never going to be as good a "The Doctor" the one I grew up with (When ever I see Jelly babys..). Not only that but I'm pretty sure they'd ran out of ideas. Television, effects, cinema, story telling had all moved on by the time Dr who came back I hadn't even got a TV, hadn't had one for more than a decade and I had zero intrest in it.

Well after watching (experiencing) Doctor Who - Season 1: 2. The Devil's Chord I may dip into it again the next time everybody gets offended by it's "woke messaging". Hopfully that episode wasn't an outlier.

If there was a guaranty that ever episode woiuld end with a song and a dance I'd be all in. "Ends with a twist" lol.
