Orcs, not having much intelligence, do not keep much in the way of written records. Their oral tradition, however, tells a tale of endless warring with all other races. It is said that the first orc emerged from the ashes of a burning civilization, some 10 millenia in the past, known simply as First Orc. While the Orcs themselves mean this quite literally, it has led the other races to suspect that perhaps the Orc is a descendant of genetically modified humans or elves, the product of a failed experiment.
