Because it's such a headache I've decided to write a guide
Be aware of the WAD files the flatpak file is able to access. You can change this with Flatseal
When adding sourceport path press Ctrl+L in the filepicker and paste:
/var/lib/flatpak/app/org.zdoom.GZDoom/current/active/export/bin/org.zdoom.GZDoom
and press enter to set
!! Uses electron, very large filesize !!
Right click the .Appimage and allow executing file as a program
When adding sourceport path press Ctrl+L in the filepicker and paste:
/var/lib/flatpak/app/org.zdoom.GZDoom/current/active/export/bin/org.zdoom.GZDoom
and press enter to set
You very likely want the x64.tar.gz
Extract the file and open 'zdl'
Select the 'General settings' tab at the top and add a sourceport
When adding sourceport path navigate to
/var/lib/flatpak/app/org.zdoom.GZDoom/current/active/export/bin/
and double click org.zdoom.GZDoom
!! Uses electron, very large filesize !!
Guide is included on Github
