i love it when you make weird faces at me

it takes me fifteen minutes to text you back and longer to get a reply

it's so frickin great i'm not even joking,

to text in this way

waiting patiently with my phone in my pocket while my mind works on schoolwork

i'll check when i finish and i see it's my turn, so i reply in the dark

i want to breath you in entirely

mingle you with The Real World

and was caught in life's headlights

my bones leave my body

they just disappear

who i see in your eyes
