- i'm thankful for you

and for the stars

that underline your eyes

and illuminate the cars

- every now and then

the night stays awake

and with radio waves we

can paint all the days gray

+ start your car

or i can start mine

we can meet in the middle

at your house or mine

it doesn't matter

where we even go

oregon, idaho,

or home, i don't know

- we don't have to fight

and we don't need a home

we can turn on our headlights

or aimlessly roam

- i never decide

and neither do you

but when we do nothing
