Recently the EU made a rule to add plastic caps which stay on the botles, such bullshit ideas can only become a rule if someone can make a lot of profit, for example with a patent.
While writing this text, i am in Poland. Here exist absolutely no public water taps, not even on playgrounds and soccer fields. Stuff like this forces people to buy botled water, which is a waste of resources, oil and money.
