Yesterday, after dinner, I sat down on the couch and started to play, to practice a little with the guitar, unplugged. It had been a long time since I had been able to enjoy the instrument so quietly. After a few minutes, I was with my eyes closed, almost asleep, in a totally zen state of mind.... I went straight to bed to sleep happily.
I started guitar lessons in the summer of 2021. I had already been playing (badly) for many years, but I needed to take a step further and understand the instrument better, especially after releasing Big Giant Trees. Last year I was able to improve a lot, because I could dedicate a lot of time and energy to it. This year, on the other hand, it's a bit more difficult because between the baby and work, I'm very short of time. My teacher has been very supportive and has told me that it's enough that this year I "don't quit" and "get a passing grade" (I don't know if this translates well into English).
As soon as I finish the freelance work I'm doing, I hope to be able to continue with Big Giant Trees 2, which is practically a year behind... T_T
