The Gemini news utility continues to progress. I spent some time implementing a custom news feed. The queries can be stored if the user is using a client certificate in order to make a custom news feed.
The news feed is usable but quited basic yet. Still lacks the option to delete query terms and returns a random selection of results for all the terms. One limitation is the backend news API, or the way I am using it.
I plan to continue improving the feed as well as writing an article or two explaining the code behind.
