Re: "I've been a bit lately getting into music, mostly live..."
Oh, man... as a Linux user since the '98, I've seen so many things that users should not tolerate with Microsoft and Apple yet they keep using their products that I conclude that people will accept all kinds of abuse for the sake of some (perceived) convenience and will keep buying lies like Linux is all text consoles and arcane commands in a black screen with white text and so on.
I just don't wait for that happening any time soon. Besides... the new ads on Windows? For sure some hacker will clean all tha crap somehow, instead of collaborating with Free Software to make great things.

I've owned a circuit tracks for a while, but have never actually even tried to use the web interface. I've been meaning to since I got it, but whenever I'm in the mood to use the circuit tracks, it's because I want to make music without using my computer, so I've never gotten around to it. Glad to hear it's workable on Linux.

I've been a bit lately getting into music, mostly live playing. I've been gathering some hardware synths, I have a guitar and well... most of the software for all these synths is Windows or Mac. No Linux. My latest addition, a Novation Circuit Tracks, has its software run as a webapp, using some kind of "WebMIDI" implementation. In Linux it reads, and allows some things, but when you try to upload a whole pack or a big sample, it fails. I thought "Oh, well, another for the Windows VM". Some...
