08/01/2021 (things i learned)
- Signal's looking great!
- how Rust handles strings (very well, thank you i <3 u)
- Just keep going, don't lose the big picture
- Mastodon doesn't like signal cuz of centralised servers &
"power hungry" dev, but i think they did wonderfully and
i have faith in their direction. It would be quite tough
for them to become big tech. Federation can only work
when people are exposed to it from the start (ie educated)
but the world isn't ready yet. Signal's a good first step.
