I've wanted to have a web site for a long time--that's how it was spelled when I was a kid, with a space between the two words. I had one for a while on geocities. It even had cool JavaScript menus. And animated gifs. And it was neon green on black, of course. I never got around to having an actual web site. I got distracted by technology.
Gemini looks like a nice, low noise alternative to the dumpster fire that is the modern web. Gopher seems cool as well, but I was too young back when it was a thing, so it lacks the "good ol' days" factor for me. Gemini, on the other hand, seems like something I could start using.
I'll be writing--when and if--mostly about tech stuff. Mostly rants about how things suck now, and how it was better way back when. "Damn kids, get off my lawn" kind of stuff. I'm not even that old. But I'm morally the old man that yells at clouds.
