I used to do this semi-frequently. I exercise a lot more moderation now. I can proudly say it's been two years since the last time I was truly drunk. I still periodically drink and frankly it is my favorite mind-altering substance, but I know better now how to stay in that sweet spot where your heart is open and your wits are still about you. I have learned as well, it took time and quite frankly a lot of experimenting, with the obviously embarrassing lessons of shame, but these days I very rarely overdrink.
