Recently I rediscovered that playing a bit of videogames helps me to unload the stress accumulated during the day, especially at work.

I don't need to play a lot, a short session of 15~30" is enough.

I have plenty of retrostuff to play with although I don't like to let myself see playing videogames from my family thus I bought an Anbernic Retro Handheld RG35XXSP.

It looks like a GBA SP and it pretty suitable to play 8/16Bit videogames.

I hope I am not going to regret this purchase... 🙏

I wanted to buy a ps5 when it first came out, but decided against it due to cost and microphones listening in the controllers. I researched the Nintendo Switch and found it was very privacy respecting. But I have not picked one up. I know it's not retro, but by the time I buy one it will be.

My favorite retrogame is nethack, which I have never beaten. I like roguelikes and roguelites as well. I'm also a fan of tower defense games, and arcade-style fighting games. I prefer something I can jump into. I tried to play an RPG recently, but had to take a break. When I came back I had forgotten all the lore. I guess I'm officially a casual. · 1 month ago

the RG405m has a 4:3 screen :) i use it for all stuff a analogue pocket can't be used for; 32x up to PS2 · 1 month ago

@devyl I was almost tempted to buy one horizontal and with the analogic sticks, but the goal is playing old school 2D games... This games requires mainly a 4:3 screen ratio... · 1 month ago
