Why did nobody tell me that Haskell could be so cool?!

Pure functional programming really is the best. Haskell led the way but now there's Elm, PureScript, and Idris too. I've been playing with them, on and off, for six years and I'm still learning new things. It's a steep climb up to the summit of functor, monoid, and monad, but thereafter lies a sprawling meadow of mathematical elegance with things like lenses, parser combinators, and property-based testing. · 2 years ago
@cobradile94, it's a programming language that treats everything more like math than other languages. · 2 years ago
