@n2qfd cipres implemented encrypted cert-secured messaging that can only be decrypted end-to-end within dashboard, so yes actually, it's a private e2e messaging platform as well as an email/sms-alternative :D · 3 days ago

Fatline is a contained messaging system to farcaster that allows you to add and message people that are registered, using assigned account links between eachother for contact.
Misfin is a very active companion protocol to Gemini similar to how email compliments the web, as there are various misfin hosts as well as implements for misfin server/client programs for self-hosting. I have a misfin host at gemini://hashnix.club:1958 which is free for anyone to register and message people using domain-assigned addresses similar to email. · 3 days ago
