MY cat sat in the middle of the room making strange quacking sounds yesterday. I was a alarmed, thinking she was unwell, but then I saw that she was looking out the window at a bunch of crows.
When she was little she used to make creaking and ticking sounds at bugs.

I'd like a cat but I can't have one at college. Someday...

@satch: cats are wonderful, but don't forget when you get your cat after college, you'll have your cat friend for something like 20 years, if it goes well. Your cat will hopefully play with your kids! Cats are wonderful friends, but do impose limits on where and how you live...
Sounds like an extremely smart kitty :)

Yes, she is an odd duck. She is also terrified of being outside. I took her out to the backyard once and she crawled back home, flattened to the ground, as if the sky would crush her.
