Hi. I'm the author. I hope this is the only post that is about me in a meaningful way. I think that my friend's stories deserve to be remembered, and if they were forgotten, it would be a tragedy. We all die, we only get a limited amount of time here. The stories and memories of us and what we create are what we leave behind. I believe they will leave behind plenty, but their stories may be lost. Hopefully I can do them some justice here.

I'm not sure if I will tell them about this, at least not yet. In light of that I will leave them anonymous given that I will likely get personal in this gemlog.
