Tuna Poke
Ingredients - serves 8
1kg red tuna
6 lime
2 Tbsp shallots
1 tsp garlic
1 green bell pepper or 1 cucumber
2 tomatoes
1 Salad or baby spinach
250 ml whipped cream or coconut milk
Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Dice the tuna in small bite sizes in a large bowl
- Add the lime juice, shallots, garlice, salt, pepper and leave in the fridge for 24 hours
- Drain the tuna but keep the juice
- In a large bowl, combine the cream or coconut milk and 1½ Tbsp of the marinade juice.
- Cut the tomatoes in quarters, the bell pepper in thin slices and slice the salad leaves.
- Combine everything and keep in the fridge before serving
