Brendan McGilligan, 8 Jul
The route for the Foyle Cup parade has been released by the City Centre
Initiative today.
Anticipation is growing for the underage tournament, which is set to
kick off next week.
But the traditional parade is set to take place on Monday, July 15, at
10am before a ball is kicked.
Teams will depart Magee Campus, Ulster University, and proceed via
Northland Road, Great James Street, Strand Road, and into Waterloo
Place and Guildhall Square.
Participants can assemble at 9am outside the Martha Magee building at
Ulster University.
There will be rolling road closures while the parade is in procession
through the city.
And for those taking part in the parade, there will be free parking at
Ulster University Duncreggan Upper Car Park, while minibus parking is
available at the Foyle Arts Car Park.
