A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with
perverting the course of justice.
Ruairi Curtis (31) of St. Brecan's Park in Derry appeared at a
preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He was charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice in
two cases involving driving offences on July 14 and 15 last year.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no
contrary submissions.
Curtis chose not to call any witnesses or to make any statement.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on September 9 and
released on bail.
