Dear capsuleers, tell me, what is your minimum EDC you take with you when you leave home? My essential gear is a pocketknife/multitool, flashlight, keys, money, replacement glasses (i have really bad eyes), cellphone, lighter and tobacco.

Like xandra; i have a little backpack with me all the time. with rain jacket, knife, cables, charger, masks, multitool,... much stuff besides wallet/phone/keys · 2 years ago
I really carry spare socks/underpants with me in my big EDC... you never know where you wake up tomorrow xD · 2 years ago
keys, golf club, spare underpants, gold bar, satellite phone, glitter ball, long bow. You gotta be prepared for the unexpected these days. · 2 years ago
@lykso same here, when the trip goes longer then i carry my fully blown backpack with me, including first aid kit, pocket radio, water, MRE, paracord, folding saw, peppergun etc... better prepared than sorry... · 2 years ago
Depends how long I intend to be out. A quick trip to the store warrants only the basic phone, keys, wallet, and N95 mask combo. If I expect to be sitting and waiting alone for any reason, add to that my journal and e-ink Kindle, and maybe my laptop as well. · 2 years ago
wallet-phone-keys, but i always like to carry in my purse/backpack: a book i'm reading, a light jacket (weather can change pretty quickly here), earbuds, a weed pen, hand sanitizer (still haven't gotten COVID, knock on wood), pepper spray, sunglasses, N95 and surgical masks, and battery charging bank. i can be pretty impulsive so i like to stay prepared. :) · 2 years ago
Wallet, keys, phone, prayer rope, wireless headphones, sometimes keyboard if I'm going to work · 2 years ago
If I'm really trying to keep it to the bare minimum, Phone, PDA/wallet. Watch too if you count that. But typically I also have my Pinephone PDA and sometimes a mindisc player or Odroid Go. If I will be out for quite a while I usually also make sure I have my leatherman multi-tool clipped to a belt loop. · 2 years ago
The usual boring: wallet/keys/phone on me; other things are available if I drove somewhere. I've never settled on a pocketknife, maybe because I buy cheap blades or don't know how to sharpen it well, or both. If I'm driving I consider other things necessary, but those are carried in the car/truck, not on my person. · 2 years ago
