One last entry before winter hits; or least before the seasons say winter. So far this week the weather has definitely been telling us winter. Icy cold winds and rain, only a few minutes of sunshine each day.
Riding home from work the sun has already gone down, the weather precludes going for a walk at lunchtime, that leaves the morning commute. On the way in there's next to nothing around other than fungi sprouting up in every patch of grass and under all the trees. I think I saw a small flock of Galahs[1] foraging near Huntingdale station this morning, digging up grass roots in the soft ground
