Out to the south and east in my 5km allowed lockdown zone this afternoon, around and down to Karkarook park for a lap of the lake... me and seemingly half of the suburbs within travel distance! I'm not entirely convinced they were all exercising with immediate family or one other person, and I know for sure that some were ignoring the "dogs on leash at all times" signs as I was nearly bowled over by an offleash dog.
Mudlarks[1] & Pukeko[2] on the grass, coots[3] and black ducks[4] in the pond. Around to the south of the lake and there's a largish flock of Silver gulls[5] splashing and making noise, then a pair of Black swans[6] entertaining a couple of families. More coots, a few more ducks, then I was back to the north end of the park and back out into suburban roads for the ride home.
