Ugh, nearly two weeks later and all of a sudden the time has caught up with me and I hadn't written up my daily posts. So much for my commitment
The last day of our four day mini holiday, carefully not venturing too far from home and staying within Victoria in case of Covid-19 complications we covered a fair bit of ground and travelled the silo art trail. Final night was meant to be at Swan Hill but we found we'd collided with the local show or races and all accommodation was booked out so stayed another 50km down the road at Kerang
Today there was a morning ride around the Loddon river wetlands in Kerang and then driving home; near endless Nankeen kestrels[1] spaced out about 2km apart were ubiquitous, but pretty much the only noticeable bit of wildlife, I think I'd expected to see a little more around the river and water
