A cold, wet and windy Sunday had me staying inside most of the day, but son & I took off for a quick ride before lunch intending to ride up to Caulfield and back. Halfway there and the next rain squall hit so we turned and raced for home!
In the park near home a row of gum trees are flowering, the bike path is now covered in red blossom and leaves, partly brought down by rain & hail, partly by the shrieking flocks of Rainbow[1] and Musk lorikeets[2]. Also getting in on the act are Little[3] and Red wattlebirds[4] and the inevitable Noisy miners[5]
