Out on my daily ride I passed through the sports oval alongside Gardiners creek up near the tunnel under Warrigal road. As seems to be the case every day when I go through here the small flock of Crested pigeon were pecking around quietly in the same spot on the grass -- I'd almost guess that someone puts food out here for them every day if it didn't just look like a 2m circle of dusty ground at the edge of the sportsground. I think there were 13 of them today, they're a little hard to count as I ride past.
