Huntingdale wetlands looking very low, fairly smelly. Big replanting effort just finished off in the past few weeks and there are protective nets over beds of new water plants -- until they're established, according to the gardener we spoke to. Coots, moorhens, black duck and teal, then on the next section of bushland a solitary Eastern rosella flew past and perched up on a branch to watch me.
