Morning chores required a train trip to the city and a ride up to West Melbourne, then chores complete, an exploratory ride home through streets known and unknown. Riding back along the Gardiners creek path in Hawthorn was a near deafening experience -- an enormous flock of Little corellas[1] was wheeling around in the trees and on the grass around the oval, I've not seen them in such quantity here in Melbourne, it looks more like the sort of flocks we see up near the Murray.
