Last day of Melbourne's lockdown number three -- thankfully -- and out for a harder ride than I normally do, pushed myself to go a little faster & harder, but it was over 30°C and I spent most of my time on suburban roads so there's precious little wildlife to be seen or heard.
Little ravens[1] perched silently in the trees, beaks open, panting. The ubiquitous Noisy miners[2] everywhere, mostly hiding in the scrub and being noisy. No Crested pigeons today, but three or four Spotted dove[3] pecking around on the path fluttering up from underfoot ... err, under wheel.
