A shock was detected in the solar wind data (DSCOVR and ACE) around 11:05 UTC on June 15. The interplanetary magnetic field jumped from 6 nT to 14 nT, the solar wind speed jumped from 360 km/s to 437 km/s and increased up to 460 km/s. The solar wind density at the shock increased from 3.8 ppcc to 9.9 ppcc. The shock could be related to an early interplanetary coronal mass ejection (ICME) arrival, probably associated with the CME detected at 23:32 UTC on June 12. Geomagnetic conditions are currently at quiet levels globally and locally (Kp 2 and K BEL 2) but may reach unsettled or active levels depending on Bz.

The global geomagnetic conditions reached minor storm levels (Kp 5+) between 12:00-15:00 UTC. The geomagnetic conditions locally reached active levels (K BEL 4) between 12:00-19:00 UTC. It is likely the result of an early interplanetary coronal mass ejection (ICME) arrival, most probably associated with the CME detected at 23:32 UTC on June 12. The current geomagnetic conditions globally and locally are at unsettled levels (Kp 3- and K BEL 3).
