As visually engrossing as the first. Even more so with 14 years of progress. At over 3 hours it’s a long one so buy the good seats (and 3D!). Like Top Gun, this is a theatre movie.
Although judging from the almost totally empty theatre at both blockbusters, it sure looks like movie theatres won’t be around too much longer.
If you liked the first one, you’ll like this one. The story is a little weaker in this one, with at least one plot point being very odd and seemingly unnecessary, but the visuals…wow.
