This day was not a regular field trip day, rather I simply went to my local cemetery.

Not only is this my first observation of C. spendens in this season, it also is my first observation of a purely green female. Additionally, this may indicate that one of the two unidentified observations from 6 June – the one in Zone III – likely was a female C. splendens.
Until I can confirm the latter, however, a few more days will have to pass, as my next field trip will take me back to the FFH teritory.
