Swing and Pull

wind ��s banging doors again, windows open for the rain
not pouring in, hammering down on thrice-frosted garden
all warmed up to again, that hot-and-cold again cranked top
yattering amidst tomato stalks, whirring a hummingbird feeder
settling contralto and tenor under roar ��s own saturation
making of joyous noise getting just a tetch out of trackless
laying in winter provender, blending compost under
young bones on this place making neither nevermind
nor that sweet settled farmhouse rumination taking it in
modern balloon beam confabulation in thermal equilibrium
and not quite satisfied it ��s taken, still and gale trading off
balancing across north and south, doors within driven to latch
surprised in sudden vibration, cat, ablutions momentarily paused
leans back into mist, fade a bit, whisker-smile forward
licks shoulder towards garden, house �� all young thing got up
taking cues, similarly dismissive, trips on resonance
chimney, eves, metal roof all singing in third voice
low setting hearthless heat all a-tremble, laying many seats
��til glancing out window, palm on sill, a smiled greeting spreads
this ��un don ��t know ��nough to mean offense, still learning bones
all back-and-forth striations each side of chamber, alternating
pay no burning arbitration, and maybe share some bowing
your strings and mine, and your strings and mine
guest and nesting, all a-rosen into knowing
