I see I have forgotten to tell you
how migraines lead to the dumb
in that way which pain sometimes does
but also in that way where the brain
just won ��t brain, and nouns
reverb with echo-location
coming up with such gems
as coffee maker full of eggs
not quite cooked yet
freshly seasoned cast iron pan
the very biggest one, upside-down
where the cutting board would go
baffled human gazing vacantly
at their empty coffee mug
somehow remaining empty
knife and tomato
found later, so much later
in the fern on the patio
